Serena Williams, on record streak, remains No. 1
NASHVILLE, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Dale Weise scored the only goal Friday and Roberto Luongo posted his second shutout of the season to bring Vancouver a 1-0 win over Nashville.
The goal by Weise came midway through the third period and finally broke up a tremendous goaltending duel between Luongo and Pekka Rinne.
Luongo has 62 shutouts in his 13-year career, the last seven of which have been spent with the Canucks. He stopped 23 shots.
Rinne also had 23 saves and the goal he allowed came when Weise's shot deflected off a Nashville player.
