LOS ANGELES, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Tony Parker scored 31 points to go with seven assists in leading the San Antonio Spurs to a 116-90 defeat of the Los Angeles Clippers Thursday.
The Spurs had lost their first two games against the Clippers in November, but Thursday's game at Staples Center improved San Antonio's nine-game road-trip record to 6-1.
Danny Green contributed 15 points and seven assists, while Tiago Splitter and Manu Ginobili added 10 points apiece for the Spurs, who shot 59 percent from the field.
Matt Barnes scored 18 points and Blake Griffin had 17 points for Los Angeles, but All-Star Game MVP Chris Paul had only 4 points while being called for five personal fouls in the loss.
