DALLAS, Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Shawn Marion and Elton Brand led six Dallas players in double figures Wednesday and the Mavericks went on a late run to defeat Orlando 111-96.

The Magic threatened to pull off an upset, but Dallas outscored them 38-17 over the last 14 minutes to complete a 4-1 home stand.

Dallas had not played for a week because of the all-star break while Orlando had lost to Charlotte Tuesday.

Both Marion and Brand had 17 points while Vince Carter scored 14.

Orlando was led by Arron Afflalo with 21 and Maurice Harkless with 20. The Magic lost for the 15th time in 16 games.
