Serena Williams, on record streak, remains No. 1

TUCSON, Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Solomon Hill sent Arizona pulling away in the second half Wednesday and the No. 12 Wildcats sailed to a 70-52 victory over Washington.
Arizona moved within a half game of Oregon for the lead in the Pacific-12 Conference.
Hill scored 19 points and Mark Lyons had 14 for Arizona (22-4, 10-4 Pac-12). The Wildcats ended the first half on an 8-2 run to take a 33-25 lead and they quickly built a 20-point cushion in the second period.
Arizona held Washington to 30 percent shooting and the Huskies made just 1-of-10 from 3-point range.
C.J. Wilcox had 15 points to lead Washington (14-13, 6-8).
