NBA: Miami 103, Atlanta 90

ATLANTA, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Shane Battier and Ray Allen scored 23 of Miami's 40 fourth-quarter points Wednesday, rallying the Heat to a 103-90 victory over Atlanta.

The Hawks led by 10 heading into the final period, but Battier touched off the comeback by hitting back-to-back 3-pointers. He produced 11 points in the fourth quarter and Allen had 12, powering the Heat to their eighth straight victory.

LeBron James scored 24 points for the Heat, had six rebounds and dished out 11 assists. Dwyane Wade added 20 points, Battier had 17 and Allen pitched in 15.

Atlanta lost despite hitting 50 percent of its field goal attempts and grabbing nine more rebounds than Atlanta. Al Horford went 12-of-15 and scored 27 points for the Hawks.
