NBA: Denver 97, Boston 90

DENVER, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Danilo Gallinari and Ty Lawson both scored 26 points Tuesday to lift the Denver Nuggets to a 97-90 victory over the visiting Boston Celtics.

The victory gave George Karl his 400th win as coach of the Nuggets and snapped Denver's three-game losing streak.

Gallinari had five assists in the game and Lawson notched six for the Nuggets, who shot 41.9 percent from the field to Boston's 44.3 percent.

Jeff Green came off the bench to lead Boston with 20 points. Avery Bradley had 17 points and Kevin Garnett scored 12 and picked off nine rebounds. Boston lost for the second time in three games.
