OTTAWA, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Craig Anderson burnished his credentials as the NHL's top goaltender Tuesday, stopping 37 shots in the Ottawa Senators' 3-1 win over the New York Islanders.

Anderson used the sparkling performance to reduce his goals-against-average to 1.57 and his save percentage to .950 -- both the best in the league.

Dave Dziurzynski, Colin Greening and Andre Benoit each found the net as the Sens notched a second straight win.

The Islanders, meanwhile, dropped a second consecutive game after being blown out 7-0 by Philadelphia Monday.

Travis Hamonic got New York's only goal and Rick DiPietro allowed three goals on 26 shots in the loss.
