WASHINGTON, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Rudy Gay and DeMar DeRozan each netted 24 points Tuesday and Toronto won for the sixth time in eight contests with a 96-88 victory over Washington.

Gay also grabbed eight rebounds for Toronto, which has made a playoff push since obtaining him Jan. 30 in a three-team trade involving Memphis and Detroit.

With the victory, the Raptors pulled to within 5 1/2 games of Milwaukee for the eighth and final Eastern Conference playoff spot.

Bradley Beal supplied 25 points for the Wizards, who dropped a second straight.
