Langer completes ACE Group Classic win

NAPLES, Fla., Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Bernhard Langer wrapped up his 17th Champions Tour victory Sunday with an even-par 72 in the final round and finished the ACE Group Classic at 12-under 204.

Langer -- who led the event after all three rounds -- posted his second victory in three years at the Florida tournament, which is held on the Club at TwinEagles' Talon Course.

Jay Don Blake carded final-round 68 to take second at 11-under 207.

John Cook (68) and Tom Pernice Jr. (72) tied for third at 9-under.

Rocco Mediate (69) and David Frost (68) finished at 8-under.

Defending champion Kenny Perry shot a 69 Sunday to finish at 6-under 201, tied for 10th with John Huston (73), Bill Glasson (70) and Chien Soon Lu (75).
