NBA: Los Angeles Clippers 106, Houston 96

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Caron Butler scored 17 of his 19 points in a monster first quarter Wednesday and the Los Angeles Clippers rolled to a 106-96 win over Houston.

Blake Griffin finished with 20 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and four steals while Chauncey Billips drained four 3-pointers en route to 19 points for Los Angeles.

Jamal Crawford came off the bench to add 13 points as the Clippers won a third straight and improved to 21-5 at home.

Chandler Parsons netted 17 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Rockets, who finished a three-game road trip with a 1-2 mark.

Jeremy Lin and James Anderson added 14 points each in the loss.
