NBA: Dallas 123, Sacramento 100

DALLAS, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Vince Carter scored 17 of his 26 points in third quarter Wednesday and the Dallas Mavericks pulled away for a 123-100 victory over Sacramento.

Carter drained five 3-pointers during the surge while Darren Collison added 18 points and Dirk Nowitzki chipped in with 17 as the Mavericks bested the Kings at home for the 18th straight time.

The victory was the third in four games overall for Dallas.

The Kings got 23 points from Tyreke Evans in the loss.

DeMarcus Cousins notched a double-double of 17 points and 13 boards for Sacramento.
