PITTSBURGH, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Richard Mann, a native of Aliquippa, Pa., was named the Pittsburgh Steelers' wide receivers coach, the team announced.

Mann, 65, will work near his hometown and will be reunited with Steelers' head coach Mike Tomlin. They coached the Tampa Bay Buccaneers together from 2002 to 2005, winning the Super Bowl after the 2002 season, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported Thursday.

Mann spent nearly 30 years as an NFL assistant, and returns to the league after spending the last three years as a consultant and coach to players entering the NFL draft. He began his career coaching high school football in Aliquippa in 1970, later coached at Arizona State and Louisville, and moved to the NFL with the Colts, Browns, Jets, Ravens, Chiefs and Redskins, the newspaper added.
