NBA: Houston 116, Golden State 107

OAKLAND, Calif., Feb. 13 (UPI) -- The anticipated high-scoring shootout between Golden State and Houston came to pass Tuesday with the Rockets nabbing a 116-107 road win over the Warriors.

James Harden led the Rockets with 27 points and seven rebounds and Chandler Parsons racked up 21 points and eight boards.

Houston, who have won seven of their last 10 games, also had 14 points and 10 assists from Jeremy Lin. Omer Asik also had a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds.

The Rockets are second in the NBA in per-game scoring. Golden State is No. 8.

Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 27 points. Klay Thompson and Jerret Jack both had 22 points. Golden State lost its fifth consecutive game.

Houston took 91 shots from the field -- 34 from 3-point range -- and connected on 43 for a 47.3-percent shooting average and narrowly won the battle of the boards 48-46. The Warriors shot 45.2 percent from the field but was 23-of-31 from the free-throw line.
