BOSTON, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Ryan Callahan netted the decisive goal in the fourth round of shootout Tuesday and the New York Rangers salvaged a 4-3 win over Boston.

The Rangers seemed to on their way to a win after Anton Stralman scored an unassisted marker early in the third period for a 3-0 New York lead.

But the Bruins mounted a late comeback as David Krejci, Nathan Horton and Brad Marchand each found the net to force a scoreless overtime.

Then in the tiebreaker, Henrik Lundqvist turned aside three of four shots while Callahan won it with a forehand blast that got past Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask on the stick side.

Carl Hagelin and Derek Stepan found the net and Lundqvist finished with 37 saves for New York, which improved to 4-1-0 in February.

Milan Lucic and Dennis Seidenberg each notched two assists while Rask made 26 saves in the Bruins' loss.
