NBA: New Orleans 105, Detroit 86

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Ryan Anderson poured in 31 points Monday and the New Orleans Hornets continued a recent hot streak with a 105-86 decision over Detroit.

Anderson drained five 3-pointers while Robin Lopez added 23 points and 10 rebounds for the Hornets, who won for the third time in four games despite the absence of high-scoring Eric Gordon.

Al-Farouq Aminu supplied a double-double of 12 points and 14 boards as New Orleans sank a total of 10 shots from long range.

The Pistons got 19 points from Rodney Stuckey but could manage only 36 percent shooting from the field in the setback.

Greg Monroe donated 17 and 11 rebounds in the loss.
