DENVER, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Viktor Fasth recorded the first shutout of his young NHL career Wednesday, stopping 31 shots in carrying Anaheim to a 3-0 win over Colorado.

It was Fasth's fourth NHL start and he has won them all. He has given up a total of four goals in those four starts.

The Ducks have won four in a row while Colorado has dropped back-to-back games.

Sheldon Souray opened the scoring with a slap shot that came 6:20 into the contest and Saku Koivu added a power-play goal with 4:21 to go in the first period.

Francois Beauchemin added a tally midway through the second period with Koivu assisting.

Semyon Varlamov allowed all three goals on 20 shots. Colorado has played 10 games this season and has been blanked in three of them.
