NBA: Washington 106, New York 96

WASHINGTON, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- John Wall led six Washington players in double figures Wednesday during an offensive show that brought the Wizards a 106-96 win over New York.

The Knicks had a five-game winning streak snapped and they lost to the Wizards for the first time in 11 meetings.

Washington overcame a three-point deficit heading into the final period with a 36-point fourth quarter. The Wizards shot 53 percent from the field and went 11-of-20 from 3-point range.

Wall scored 21 points, Trevor Ariza had 20 points off the bench and Martell Webster added 19.

Washington overcame a 31-point performance from Carmelo Anthony, who made 10 field goals but needed 23 shots to do it. Amar'e Stoudemire produced 19 for the Knicks.
