NBA: Oklahoma City 119, Golden State 98

OKLAHOMA CITY, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant led the way with 25 points Wednesday and Oklahoma City won its second straight with a 119-98 triumph over Golden State.

The Thunder have picked up back-to-back victories for the first time since they won six in a row from Jan. 9-18.

Durant protected his lead in the NBA scoring race, having moved in front over Kobe Bryant and Carmelo Anthony since the turn of the new year. Durant came into the contest averaging 29.4 points per game.

Russell Westbrook added 22 points for Oklahoma City and Kevin Martin came off the bench to score 21. Serge Ibaka contributed 15 points, nine rebounds and six blocks for Oklahoma City, which has lost at home only three times all season.

Golden State was paced by Harrison Barnes and Klay Thompson with 19 points each.

The offensive minded teams combined to take 188 shots from the field, making 86 of them.
