TORONTO, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Jordan Staal recorded a goal and an assist and brother Eric Staal also scored Monday, propelling the Carolina Hurricanes over Toronto 4-1.

Patrick Dwyer matched Jordan Staal with a goal and helper while Justin Faulk also added a marker for the Hurricanes, who took their fourth win in six games.

Cam Ward was solid in net, turning aside 41-of-42 shots in the victory.

Jeff Skinner assisted on three of Carolina's tallies.

The Maple Leafs, meanwhile, could dent Ward only once as Matt Frattin found the net 5:44 into the game.

James Reimer made 35 saves as Toronto fell for the fourth time in six contests.
