NBA: Miami 99, Charlotte 94

MIAMI, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- LeBron James pumped in 31 points on a career-best 13-of-14 shooting from the field Monday, powering the Miami Heat over Charlotte 99-94.

James' 93-percent shooting performance was his best ever in a single game and the Heat superstar also contributed eight rebounds and eight assists in the victory.

Chris Bosh helped out with 23 points and Dwyane Wade added 20 with 12 rebounds as the Heat won for the seventh time in nine games.

Ramon Sessions provided 18 points and Ben Gordon added 16 for the Bobcats in a losing cause.

Byron Mullens and Gerald Henderson put in 12 points apiece for Charlotte.
