ROUEN, France, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Michael Llodra and Richard Gasquet posted straight-set wins Sunday in finishing off a 5-0 French sweep of Israel in a Davis Cup first-round series.

Llodra defeated Noam Okun 6-3, 7 (7-5) and Gasquet beat Amir Weintraub 6-4, 6-3. The matches, usually best-of-five in Davis Cup play, were shortened to best-of-three because France had already wrapped up the series.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Gasquet had singles wins Friday and Julien Benneteau and Llodra teamed for a doubles win Saturday that secured the best-of-five series for the French. France will play Argentina in the Davis Cup quarterfinals in April.

Llodra, even losing his serve once, won 89 percent of the points on serve versus Okun. He has 15 aces and 52 winners against 24 unforced errors.

Gasquet also lost his serve once but had three breaks and won nearly half -- 29-of-66 -- of the points off Weintraub's serve in wrapping up the series in 64 minutes.
