COLUMBUS, Ohio, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Artem Anisimov scored back-to-back goals in the second period Saturday and the Columbus Blue Jackets snapped a two-game skid with 4-2 win over Detroit.

Anisimov's first tally 2 1/2 minutes into the middle frame broke a 1-1 tie and sent the Blue Jackets to just their third win in nine games to start the season.

James Wisniewski (who later left the game with an injury) and Mark Letestu also scored, while Steve Mason made 32 saves for Columbus.

Damien Brunner and Johan Franzen scored and Jimmy Howard turned aside 24 shots for the Red Wings.
