PATTAYA, Thailand, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- No. 2-seeded Maria Kirilenko dropped just two games Saturday in returning to the finals of the WTA's PTT Pattaya Open tennis tournament in Thailand.

Kirilenko, who was the tournament runner-up last year, ran past fourth-seeded Sorana Cirstea 6-0, 6-2 in just more than an hour. She won 61 percent of the points in the match, including 58 percent off Cirstea's serve.

She won half of her 12 break-point chances and lost 16 points and one game in seven games serving.

Fifth-seeded Sabine Lisicki earned the other finals berth with a 7-5, 6-3 win over Nina Bratchikova. Lisicki had four breaks in the seesaw first set but didn't face a break point in settling down and taking the second.

Kirilenko is 2-0 in her career against Lisicki, although they haven't played since 2008. Kirilenko takes a 5-6 WTA finals record into Sunday's title match. She's dropped her last four finals appearances, with her most recent title coming in 2008. Lisicki is 3-2 in WTA championships matches, including a win in Dallas in 2011.

The Pattaya champion will take home $40,000 with the runner-up settling for $20,000. Cirstea and Bratchikova each collect $10,725 as semifinalists.
