BUENOS AIRES, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- The doubles squad of David Nalbandian and Horacio Zeballos logged a victory Saturday, giving Argentina an insurmountable lead over Germany in Davis Cup play.

Nalbandian and Zeballos bested the German duo of Christopher Kas and Tobias Kamke 6-1, 6-4, 5-7, 6-2, giving Argentina a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-five contest and putting the nation into the Davis Cup quarterfinals.

Germany had to play without Philipp Kohlschreiber after he suffered a hamstring injury during Friday's singles play.

Argentina -- which entered Saturday with a 2-0 lead following singles win by Carlos Berlocq and Juan Monaco -- will face France in April's quarterfinals.
