AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Both Kyle Singler and Brandon Knight scored 20 points Friday in pushing Detroit to a wire-to-wire, 117-99 victory over Cleveland.

The Pistons defeated the Cavaliers for the fifth straight time and did so by shooting 54 percent. Detroit had lost its previous two games.

Knight added 10 assists and six rebounds while Greg Monroe pitched in 18 points and 16 boards.

Detroit played without Jose Calderon, who has experienced visa problems since being obtained from Toronto in a trade earlier this week.

Tristan Thompson scored 19 points for Cleveland, which has lost consecutive games after winning three straight.
