PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Jrue Holliday led the way with 21 points Wednesday and put an end to a Washington comeback, bringing Philadelphia a 92-84 victory over the Wizards.

The 76ers were coasting with a 16-point lead as the game entered its final 6 minutes, but Washington rallied to within five when Emeka Okafor made a dunk with 1:40 to play.

Washington did not score again, missing two shots and turning the ball over twice the rest of the way. Holliday hit 1-of-2 free throws and a jumper down the stretch to put the game out of reach.

Nick Young had 18 points for the 76ers while both Thaddeus Young and Lavoy Allen had 14.

The Wizards, who scored just 11 points in the second period to fall behind by nine at halftime, were led by 16 from Nene.
