INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Roy Hibbert's 18 points and 11 rebounds led a balanced Indiana effort Wednesday and the Pacers snapped a three-game skid by downing Detroit 98-79.
The Pacers outscored the Pistons 18-2 over the final 6 minutes of the second period to take an 18-point halftime lead and they were not threatened over the final two quarters.
Indiana has lost only three home games all season, tied for fewest in the Eastern Conference, but has a mere 10-16 record on the road.
Greg Monroe scored 18 points for the Pistons, who went 3-of-18 from 3-point range.
