COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Vinny Prospal put Columbus ahead with a third-period goal Monday and the Blue Jackets held on to defeat Dallas 2-1.

Derek Dorsett also scored for Columbus, which snapped a four-game winless streak.

Sergei Bobrovsky earned the win with 24 saves.

Philip Larsen tallied on a first-period power play for Dallas, which dropped a third straight one-goal contest.

Kari Lehtonen turned aside 25 shots for the Stars.
