LA JOLLA, Calif., Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Tigers Woods held a six-shot lead at 17-under par Sunday when fourth-round play was suspended by darkness at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Woods, seeking his seventh career victory at Torrey Pines, carded a 3-under 69 in third round, which was completed Sunday after thick fog forced a halt to play Saturday.

He finished seven holes of the final round before play was shut down Sunday, and was standing at 6-under.

The final round is set to resume Monday at 2:10 p.m. Eastern.

Defending champion Brandt Snedeker stood at 4-under par in final round, grabbing a share of second place at minus-11, along with 2009 winner Nick Watney, who was working on a 3-under par fourth round.

Sharing fourth place at minus-9 were Brad Fritsch, Steve Marino and Casey Wittenberg.
