NHL: Tampa Bay 5, Philadelphia 1

TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Teddy Purcell had a goal and two assists Sunday and the Tampa Bay Lightning stayed unbeaten at home in 2013 with a 5-1 win over Philadelphia.

Martin St. Louis racked up four assists for the Bolts, who improved to 4-1-0 overall.

Steven Stamkos recorded a goal and an assist while Victor Hedman, Vincent Lecavalier and Eric Brewer scored a goal apiece for Tampa Bay, which jumped out to 3-1 in the first period.

Anders Lindback made 24 saves to earn the win.

Sean Couturier scored and Michael Leighton was torched for five goals on 26 shots for the Flyers.
