Serena Williams, on record streak, remains No. 1

CHICAGO, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Nick Leddy's goal with 2:15 left in overtime Sunday boosted Chicago past Detroit 2-1 and gave the Blackhawks the best start in the franchise's 86-year history.
Leddy's blast off a feed from Viktor Stalberg sent the Blackhawks to a team-record sixth straight victory to start a season.
Duncan Keith scored and Corey Crawford made 29 saves for Chicago, which bested its 5-0-0 start in 1971-72.
Johan Franzen scored and Jimmy Howard stopped 25-of-27 shots for the Red Wings, who fell to 2-3-0 in the lockout-shortened season.
