ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Brandon Knight
pumped in 31 points on 12-of-16 shooting Sunday and the Detroit Pistons rode his hot hand to a 104-102 win over Orlando.
Knight helped secure the victory with five 3-pointers -- including back-to-back treys late in the game -- and Greg Monroe added 17 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
J.J. Redick answered with eight 3-pointers and 31 points but the Magic couldn't overcome Knight's late surge, and fell for the 16th time in 18 contests.
E'Twaun Moore and Jameer Nelson netted 18 points apiece and Glen Davis contributed 17 points with 12 rebounds for Orlando.
