PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Jrue Holiday pumped in a career-high 35 points Saturday and the Philadelphia 76ers shook off a pair earlier losses to New York with a 97-80 victory.

Holiday dished off six assists while Nick Young and Evan Turner added 20 points each for the Sixers, who avenged two lop-sided defeats at the hands of New York this season.

The win was only the third in 11 outings for Philadelphia.

New York never led in the contest despite 25 points from Carmelo Anthony, who went 9-of-28 from the floor.

Amare Stoudemire came off the bench to put in 20 points for the Knicks.
