NBA: Los Angeles Lakers 102, Utah 84

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Dwight Howard, showing no signs of his recent shoulder problems, led five Los Angeles players in double figures Friday and lifted the Lakers past Utah 102-84.

The Lakers had lost four in a row and 10-of-12, but they displayed a balanced attack against the Jazz and hit 52 percent of their field goal attempts.

Howard scored 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. He has missed three games this month with a sore shoulder, one he re-aggravated in the Lakers' loss to Memphis on Wednesday.

Metta World Peace also had 17 points for the Lakers while Steve Nash and Pau Gasol had 15 each. Kobe Bryant put up just 11 shots, half his average, and scored 14 points.

Utah, which had won four straight, was led by Derrick Favors with 14.
