Jan. 26, 2013 at 10:54 PM

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Gerald Henderson hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 4.6 seconds left Saturday and Charlotte beat Minnesota 102-101 to break a 16-game home losing streak.

Henderson finished with 15 points and Kemba Walker added 25, eight assists and eight rebounds for the Bobcats, who were within three losses of breaking the NBA record for consecutive home defeats, set by the 1993-94 Dallas Mavericks.

Charlotte -- which logged its first victory since Nov. 21 at Time Warner Cable Arena -- hung on for the victory when Walker blocked J.J. Barea's jumper at the buzzer.

Luke Ridnour scored 22 for the Timberwolves, who lost for the ninth time in 10 games.
