NBA: San Antonio 106, New Orleans 102

SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Manu Ginobili hit 3-of-4 free throws over the final 13 seconds Wednesday to wrap up San Antonio's 106-102 victory over New Orleans.

San Antonio won its sixth in a row and the Spurs improved the NBA's best home record to 19-2.

The Spurs went on a 16-3 run in the fourth quarter to open a 10-point cushion, but the Hornets closed within three on a layup by Xavier Henry with 26 seconds left. Ginobili then came through at the foul line to secure the victory.

Tiago Splitter scored 25 points and grabbed seven rebounds while filling in for Tim Duncan, who was resting a sore knee. Tony Parker added 24 points and 13 assists.

New Orleans, which had won three of its previous four, was led by Greivis Vasquez with 15 points and 11 assists.
