AURORA, Colo., Jan. 22 (UPI) -- The Colorado home of New England Patriots defensive back Derrick Martin was robbed while he played in the AFC championship game, police said.

At least one adult and several children were at home when two masked men robbed and ransacked the house in Aurora, The Denver Post reported Monday.

The men forced their way into the home about 8:05 p.m. Sunday, police said.

It wasn't known if Martin was specifically targeted although random home-invasion robberies are rare, police spokesman Frank Fania said.

No one was hurt, Fania said. The men didn't stay long and no shots were fired.
