NBA: Detroit 103, Boston 88

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Jan. 20 (UPI) -- Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond teamed up for 31 points Sunday and the Detroit Pistons kept Boston on the skids with a 103-88 victory.

Monroe supplied 15 points and 11 rebounds. Drummond added 16 points and seven boards.

Brandon Knight and Will Bynum each contributed 15 points for the Pistons, who broke a two-game losing streak.

The Celtics, meanwhile, dropped their third straight and fell to 7-12 on the road.

Courtney Lee and Kevin Garnett each notched 16 points and Jeff Green added 15 for Boston.
