NBA: Minnesota 92, Houston 79

MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Andrei Kirilenko fired in 21 points Saturday and the Minnesota Timberwolves ended a five-game losing streak by dominating Houston 92-79.

The Timberwolves got double-digit scoring performances from six players, including Luke Ridnour with 16 points and Chris Johnson with 15.

J.J. Barea, Mickael Gelabale and Derrick Williams each added 11 points for Minnesota.

The Rockets, meanwhile, suffered their seventh straight defeat despite 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists from James Harden.

Carlos Delfino (15 points), Jeremy Lin and Greg Smith (12 apiece) also reached double figures for Houston.
