SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Al Jefferson put in 23 points and hauled down 11 rebounds Monday, helping the Utah Jazz stay hot with a 104-97 victory over Miami.

Gordon Hayward supplied 22 points and Paul Millsap added 17 with nine rebounds for the Jazz, who improved to 12-4 at home.

Trailing by 20 points earlier in the contest, the Heat mounted a 10-2 run late in the fourth quarter to pull to within two points at 93-91 with 3:31 remaining.

But Hayward responded with basket and netted five more points down the stretch to seal Utah's fourth win in five games.

LeBron James struck for 32 points and six assists while Chris Bosh added 16 points for Miami, which lost for the fourth time in six games.
