NBA: Dallas 113, Minnesota 98

DALLAS, Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Darren Collison, O.J. Mayo and Elton Brand each scored at least 20 points Monday in the Dallas Mavericks' 113-98 victory over Minnesota.

Collison netted 23 points and dished out nine assists while Mayo (nine helpers. seven rebounds) and Brand (six boards) added 20 each for the Mavs, who logged their third straight win.

Dirk Nowitzki, Chris Kamen and Vince Carter chipped in with 10 points apiece for Dallas, which shot 59.7 percent from the field and committed only nine turnovers in the victory.

J.J. Berea paced the Timberwolves with 21 points while Nikola Pekovic added 20 and 12 rebounds as Minnesota dropped a fourth straight.
