NBA: Phoenix 97, Chicago 81

CHICAGO, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Luis Scola and Michael Beasley teamed up for 42 points Saturday and the Phoenix Suns recorded a rare road victory with a 97-81 win over Chicago.

The Suns had lost 12 straight away from home coming into Chicago, but got 22 points from Scola and 20 from Beasley en route to their first road win since Nov. 27.

Sebastian Telfair added 13 points off the bench and Shannon Brown also reached double figures with 11 for Phoenix.

The Bulls, meanwhile, could manage only 36 percent shooting from the floor as Luol Deng was held to 13 points on 5-of-16 shooting.

Carlos Boozer (15 points, 10 rebounds) and Joakim Noah (10, 13) each logged a double-double in Chicago's loss.
