NBA: Philadelphia 107, Houston 100

PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Jrue Holiday pumped in 30 points and handed out nine assists Saturday, helping Philadelphia break a five-game skid with a 107-100 win over Houston.

Thaddeus Young added 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Sixers, who had lost 13 of their previous 16 games overall coming into the contest.

Jason Richardson (16 points) and Evan Turner (12, seven rebounds, six helpers) also played big roles in Philadelphia's win.

James Harden supplied 29 points, nine rebounds and six assists for the Rockets, who committed 17 turnovers in losing their third consecutive game.

Chandler Parsons donated 23 points in the loss.
