SYDNEY, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- Dominika Cibulkova rolled to a win Wednesday becoming the only unseeded player to make the semifinals of the Apia International tennis tournament in Sydney.

Cibulkova easily handled third-seeded Sara Errani 6-2, 6-1 in a quarterfinal match. Cibulkova won 62 percent of the points on serve and 64 percent off Errani's serve. She had five breaks in Errani's seven service games.

The other of the quarterfinals played to form with three of the top four seeded players advancing to the semis.

No. 1-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska took a close 6-4, 7-5 decision over Roberta Vinci. Radwanska lost her serve just once. She fought off five break points in the first set while finishing off her lone break opportunity and had two more breaks in the second set.

Second-seeded Angelique Kerber was a 6-3, 7-5 winner over Svetlana Kuznetsova with two breaks in each set and No. 4-seeded Li Na came from behind in a 4-6, 7-6 (7-2), 6-2 decision over Madison Keys.

Li goes against Radwanska in the semifinals. Li has won their last three meetings in building a 5-3 career record against Radwanska. Cibulkova is 2-0 against Kerber, her semifinal opponent.
