NBA: Indiana 87, Miami 77

INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Paul George fired in 29 points and grabbed 11 rebounds Tuesday, boosting the Indiana Pacers over Miami 87-77 in a matchup of NBA divisional leaders.

David West provided 14 points and 11 boards for the Central Division-leading Pacers, who bested the Heat in the first meeting between the squads since Miami bested Indiana in last season's Eastern Conference semifinals.

The Pacers won their second straight with the help of Lance Stephenson's 13 points.

Dwyane Wade pumped in 30 points and LeBron James supplied 22 with 10 rebounds as the Southeast Division-leading Heat dropped the first contest of a six-game road trip.
