BALTIMORE, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Linebacker Ray Lewis returned from an injury to make 13 tackles and lead a tough Baltimore defense in the Ravens' 24-9 playoff win over Indianapolis Sunday.

Lewis -- playing for the first time since mid-October due to a torn triceps -- spearheaded a defensive effort that produced three turnovers in Baltimore's triumph in the AFC Wild Card round contest.

Paul Kruger registered 2 1/2 of the Ravens' three sacks of Colts signal-caller Andrew Luck and forced a fumble for Baltimore, which now goes on to play top-seeded Denver next week.

Quarterback Joe Flacco fired a pair of TD passes on 12-of-23 passing efficiency en route to 282 yards, and Anquan Boldin racked up 145 receiving yards with a score on five catches in the win.

Luck managed to complete 28-of-54 passes with an interception in his first-ever playoff appearance for the Colts, whose storybook comeback from a 2-14 mark last season was brought to an end.

Reggie Wayne provided 114 receiving yards on nine catches while Vick Ballard rushed for 91 yards on 22 carries for Indianapolis.
