BRISBANE, Australia, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- Serena Williams turned in another dominant performance Saturday in a 6-2, 6-1 romp over Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the Brisbane International title match.

Williams, third in the world rankings and the No. 3 seed in Brisbane, was on the court just 51 minutes, winning 10 of the last 11 games in the match. She took two-thirds of the points overall in the match, including 80 percent on serve as she dropped only eight points over eight service games. Her 50 percent success rate when the unseeded Pavlyuchenkova served helped her finished off four breaks.

"Today was really good," Williams said. "I kind of zoned, where I'm in a really calm place and not panicking. I'm not over-thinking it and not just blasting every ball. I get really calm and kind of serene."

It was the 47th WTA title for Williams, which is 10th most all-time. Since last April, Williams has won 52-of-54 matches and will be considered a prohibitive favorite heading into the Australian Open.

Pavlyuchenkova, who won her first three appearances in championship matches, fell to 3-2 in WTA finals.

Williams collected $162,987 for the championship while Pavlyuchenkova earned $87,021 as runner-up.
