OAKLAND, Calif., Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Stephen Curry hit six of Golden State's 12 baskets from 3-point range Wednesday and led the Warriors to a 115-94 decision over the Los Angeles Clippers.

After winning 17 straight games, the Clippers have lost twice in as many nights.

The Warriors have captured four in a row and, despite the long Los Angeles streak, Golden State has stayed within 2 ½ games of the Clippers at the top of the Pacific Division.

Golden State, which has captured 12 of its last 15, will meet the Clippers again Saturday in Los Angeles.

Curry scored 31 points, David Lee added 24 points and 13 rebounds and Klay Thompson chipped in 19 points. The Warriors went 12-of-23 from long range and won the rebounding battle by 15.

Los Angeles was within four midway through the second period but fell behind by 13 at halftime and could not make a game of it during the final two periods.

Jamal Crawford came off the bench to score 24 points for the Clippers and Chris Paul added 23.
