NFL: Denver 38, Kansas City 3

DENVER, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Peyton Manning fired a trio of touchdown passes en route to 304 yards Sunday and Denver clinched the top AFC seed with a 38-3 blowout of Kansas City.

Manning went 23-of-29 through the air and wrapped up the season with a bevy of single-season club records for the Broncos (13-3), including most completions (400), passing yards (4,659) and touchdown passes (37).

Demaryius Thomas (seven receptions, 122 yards, one touchdown) and Eric Decker (seven grabs, 76 yards, two scores) had big receiving days as Denver ended the regular season on an 11-game winning streak.

The Broncos grabbed the No. 1 conference seed from Houston, which lost to Indianapolis Sunday.

Kansas City's Jamaal Charles finished the season with 1,509 rushing yards after picking up 53 on 14 carries Sunday for the Chiefs (2-14).
