HOUSTON, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant teamed up for 54 points Saturday, propelling the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 124-94 bashing of Houston.
Westbrook put in 28 points, dished out eight assists and grabbed eight rebounds, Durant netted 26 points as the Thunder posted a season-high point total.
Kevin Martin (19 points off the bench) led a long-range Oklahoma City assault, connecting on 5-of-8 from beyond arc as the Thunder finished with 13 three-pointers.
James Harden fired in 25 points and Marcus Morris supplied a career-high 24 for the Rockets, who lost a second straight on the heels of a five-game winning streak.
